What you will be doing:

The Supply Chain Manager oversees the entire flow of goods and services, ensuring timely production, cost efficiency, and quality delivery from vendors to customers.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing the supply chain to ensure smooth, effective and efficient operations across Arrow Speed Controls, both West and East locations driving company’s profitability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

  1. Inventory and Logistics Management:
    1. Monitoring stock levels, managing warehouse operations, and optimizing transportation routes to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
    2. Providing leadership, improving and managing inventory, inventory accuracy, turns to optimizing space, cashflow, and preventing potential write-offs.
  2. Procurement and Vendor Management:
    1. Selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining strong relationships to secure quality materials at competitive prices. Directly developing and managing relationships with all key suppliers.
    2. Providing leadership as well as directly managing global sourcing to improve cost, on time delivery, and quality for components, sub-systems and system box builds.
    3. Closely monitoring vendor’s performance to ensure products meet quality standards.
  3. Production Coordination:
    1. Aligning production schedules with demand forecasts to prevent overproduction or shortages.
    2. Implementing material handling to effectively and efficiently flow materials to the point of use exactly when needed.
    3. Streamlining material flow to reduce raw material costs, storage expenses, and waste.
  4. Data Analysis and Forecasting:
    1. Using analytics to predict demand, identify trends, and improve efficiency.
    2. Developing and setting up material flow in ERP/MRP to enforce supply chain processes from quote to cash.
  5. Risk Management:
    1. Identifying potential supply chain disruptions and implementing mitigation strategies to enable quick adaptation to market changes and mitigate supplier disruptions.
  6. Sustainability and Compliance:
    1. Ensuring operations meet regulatory standards and adopting practices to reduce waste and environmental impact.
  7. Customer Satisfaction:
    1. Timely delivery and consistent product quality to enhance brand recognition and loyalty.

 What we need from you:

  1. Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field or equivalent combined experience.
  2. Industry Experience: Hands-on experience in manufacturing supply chain operations.
  3. Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of software systems like NetSuite, Epicor, SAP, ERP platforms, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  4. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to interpret data, optimize processes, and resolve operational challenges.
  5. Leadership and Communication: Managing cross-functional teams and coordinating with suppliers, production, and sales departments. Key Attributes:
    1. Demonstrated ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously, staying organized and consistently meeting deadlines.
    2. Attention to detail with ability to “roll-up” the sleeves, while not losing sight of big picture.
    3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    4. Aptitude and enthusiasm for improving business processes.
    5. Ability to present (both verbally and in writing) technical information in an organized fashion.
    6. Team player with an ability to maintain a positive work environment.
