We are seeking motivated and energetic individuals to join our team of professionals as Panel Shop Wiremen/Wirewomen.
What you will be doing:
The Panel Shop Wireman/Wirewomen is accountable to perform the following duties to be executed timely and safely as required by the rest of the operation. These duties include:
- To review the components/parts against the BOM’S and electrical schematic drawings.
- To be able to read and interpret the electrical schematic diagrams.
- Perform drilling, tapping and riveting activities as required.
- Perform the installation to comply with CSA/UL requirements.
- Follow schematics and layouts to wire panels to meet customer specifications. Perform all crimping and wire marking to meet code.
- You must be proficient in the use of hand tools.
- You must be a good team player.
- To be health and safety conscious.
- Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.
What we need from you:
- Electrical experience required.
- VFD control systems experience required, including incorporating relay logic and PLC control.
- Good verbal communication skills in the English language.
- Detail oriented and very organized.
- 1-2 years experience as an electrician or panel builder preferred
- Work well in a fast paced team environment
- Must be physically fit and able to lift 50lbs
- First Aid Ticket, an asset
