We engineer and assemble speed control equipment for a wide range of electric motor applications. In addition to VFD's, we also do DC drives, soft starts, servo controls and PLC systems.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team and support the execution of Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) Drives and Motors, as well as industrial Automation projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating all aspects of project coordination, from kick-off meetings to final delivery, ensuring timely and successful project completion.
What you will be doing:
- Coordinate and facilitate project kick-off meetings with internal teams and clients to ensure alignment on project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Organize and schedule technical discussion meetings to address project requirements, specifications, and any technical challenges.
- Review customer purchase orders (POs) and contracts, highlighting shipping terms, delivery schedules, and any special requirements.
- Act as a liaison between clients, suppliers, and internal teams to communicate project updates, resolve issues, and ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor and track project progress, milestones, and timelines to ensure adherence to schedules and deadlines.
- Follow up on payment terms and invoicing with clients to ensure timely payment and resolve any billing discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, status reports, and meeting minutes.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products and services.
- Provide technical support and assistance to clients and internal teams as needed.
What we need from you:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in the electrical or industrial automation industry.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in French is a bonus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently interact with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage time-sensitive projects with tight deadlines. The role may occasionally require working extended hours or weekends to accommodate rush projects or urgent client requests.
- Flexibility to communicate and follow up with suppliers located overseas, which may involve scheduling meetings or calls outside of regular business hours to ensure timely project coordination and resolution of issues.
- Proficiency in learning and utilizing the company's ERP system to effectively manage projects, purchase orders, sales orders, invoices, and shipping documents. The ability to navigate the ERP system efficiently is essential for maintaining accurate project records, tracking inventory, and ensuring seamless coordination between departments.
